Before completing her Ph.D in Agricultural Economics, Jody Herchenbach worked as an Extension Assistant / 4-H coordinator with Nebraska Extension in Platte County. She serves as a faculty advisor to the Agribusiness Club and is a member of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) and the International Food & Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA). Her teaching interests include cooperatives, policy, and economics. Her research interests include cooperatives, rural economics, and agribusiness.
